The Wolfgang® Special is a world-tested music powerhouse. With a sleek design, huge sound, and high-speed playability, it's a must-have for guitar lovers. It features a basswood body with an arched top and a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck carved to Eddie Van Halen’s specs, with a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish on the back. The 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays, and truss rod adjustments are a breeze with the spoke wheel at the neck base. Two custom-designed EVH® Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups offer dynamic, articulate voicing and great sustain. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking trem and nut ensure precise tuning, and the EVH D-Tuna® allows accurate drop-D retuning. The volume knob with treble bleed circuit and tone control knob work smoothly. Available in various colors like Burgundy Mist Metallic, Deep Purple Metallic, Ice Blue Metallic, Ivory, Miami Blue, and Stealth Black with matching headstocks. Using your EVH Wolfgang Special Electric Guitar is easy. Just plug it into an amplifier and start strumming. For different tones, use the three - way toggle switch to choose between the bridge pickup, both pickups, or the neck pickup. Adjust the volume and tone knobs to get the sound you want. When it comes to tuning, the EVH - branded Floyd Rose® locking trem and nut make it precise. You can use the EVH D - Tuna® to quickly retune to drop - D. For maintenance, keep your guitar clean. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to sound dull. Store your guitar in a cool, dry place to prevent damage. Be careful when adjusting the truss rod; small adjustments are usually enough. And always use the right tools to avoid scratching the guitar.
