For a smooth and fast playing experience, the neck has an oiled finish on the back and a 12” - 16” compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays. The dual EVH® Wolfgang humbucking pickups, directly mounted to the body, enhance vibration transfer, delivering long - lasting sustain. Using your EVH Wolfgang Standard Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, make sure the strings are properly tuned. You can use the EVH - branded tuning machines to adjust the pitch. When you're ready to play, hold the guitar comfortably with the special 'comfort cut' forearm contour on the basswood body. To adjust the sound, use the black knurled tone and volume control knobs. The three - way toggle switch allows you to choose between different pickup combinations. For truss rod adjustments, use the spoke wheel at the base of the neck. As for maintenance, keep the guitar in a stable environment to avoid extreme temperature and humidity changes, as these can affect the graphite - reinforced bolt - on baked maple neck. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to keep the sound crisp. After playing, store the guitar in a proper case to protect it from damage. And always make sure the EVH - branded Floyd Rose® Special bridge and R2 locking nut are in good condition to keep the guitar in tune.
