The Wolfgang® WG Standard brings you the iconic style and powerful sound created by Eddie Van Halen at an affordable price for everyday musicians. It shares many great features with its pricier counterparts. The basswood body has a special 'comfort cut' forearm contour for easy playing. The bolt - on baked maple neck with graphite - reinforcement rods resists temperature and humidity changes, and the spoke wheel at the neck base allows for quick truss rod adjustments. The guitar features an oiled neck back, a 12” - 16” compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays for comfortable and fast play. The dual EVH® Wolfgang humbucking pickups mounted directly to the body enhance vibration transfer, offering long - lasting sustain. Using your EVH Wolfgang WG Standard Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, plug it into an amplifier using a standard instrument cable. You can adjust the sound using the volume and tone knobs. The 3 - position toggle switch allows you to choose between different pickup combinations. For a brighter sound, use the bridge pickup (Position 1). Combine both pickups (Position 2) for a fuller tone, and the neck pickup (Position 3) gives a warmer sound. When using the tremolo arm, do it gently to avoid going out of tune. The Floyd Rose® Special bridge and R2 locking nut help keep the guitar in tune, but if you notice any tuning issues, use the spoke wheel at the base of the neck to make truss rod adjustments. Keep your guitar clean by wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the neck and body. When not in use, store it in a guitar case. And don't forget to change the strings regularly for the best sound quality.
