The Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic Spalted Maple has a basswood body with a special 'comfort cut' forearm contour, making playing incredibly easy. The attractive masked - off natural body binding and a unique spalted maple top add to its charm. Its bolt - on baked maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods resists temperature and humidity changes. A conveniently placed spoke wheel at the neck base allows for quick truss rod adjustments. This stylish guitar is designed for comfort and speed. It has an oiled finish on the neck back and a 12” - 16” compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays. Dual EVH® Wolfgang humbucking pickups directly mounted to the body enhance vibration transfer, delivering long - lasting sustain. Using this EVH Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic Spalted Maple guitar is a breeze. When you first get it, make sure to tune it up using the EVH - branded tuning machines. The 3 - position toggle switch gives you different pickup combinations. Position 1 uses the bridge pickup for a bright and punchy sound, great for solos. Position 2 combines both the bridge and neck pickups for a fuller sound, perfect for rhythm playing. Position 3 uses the neck pickup for a warmer, smoother tone. Adjust the volume and tone using the black knurled control knobs. For truss rod adjustments, use the spoke wheel at the base of the neck, but do it carefully as small adjustments can make a big difference. When it comes to maintenance, keep the guitar in a stable environment to avoid extreme temperature and humidity changes, as this can affect the graphite - reinforced neck and the overall condition of the instrument. Wipe down the strings after each use to prevent corrosion. You can also clean the body with a soft, dry cloth.
