Using your Paul Reed Smith SE Custom 24-08 electric guitar is a breeze. First, make sure you've got your guitar tuned up using the PRS designed tuners. The 3 - way toggle selector on the electronics lets you choose between different pickup combinations, and the two mini - toggle coil tap switches can split the humbuckers into single coils for a different sound. When you're done playing, put it in the included gig bag to protect it. As for maintenance, wipe down the strings after each use with a clean cloth to keep them from corroding. Check the truss rod periodically to make sure the neck is in good shape. And remember, the PRS patented tremolo needs to be adjusted carefully to maintain proper intonation. Keep your guitar in a stable environment, away from extreme heat, cold, and humidity to avoid any damage to the wood or electronics.
