Using this Pearl tom is easy. First, assemble it according to the included instructions. If you're adding it to an existing drum set, use the Pearl Optimount Suspension System to attach it securely. When you play, you'll notice the powerful sound it produces. For best results, hit the drum at different spots to explore the range of tones. As for maintenance, keep the drum in a dry place to prevent damage to the acrylic shell. Wipe it down regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid hitting the drum too hard near the edges to prevent chipping. And since it has a minor flaw, just be a bit more careful during handling.
