Product Detail
80/20 Bronze, often called brass, was first chosen as an acoustic string alloy by John D'Addario Sr. and John D'Angelico in the 1930s. These strings are great for recording, with a crisp, bold, and projecting tone. They also appeal to traditionalists because of their historical value. Gauges: E 0.011, B 0.015, G 0.022, D 0.032, A 0.042, E 0.052. PLU: EJ13
Using these D'Addario EJ13 acoustic guitar strings is easy. First, loosen the old strings on your guitar and remove them. Then, start with the thickest string (0.052 gauge) and thread it through the bridge and up to the tuning peg. Wind the string around the peg, making sure it's tight and in the right place. Do the same for the rest of the strings. When you're done, tune your guitar to the right pitch. As for maintenance, wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to keep them clean. This helps prevent dirt and sweat from building up and affecting the tone. Also, if you notice the strings starting to sound dull or lose their brightness, it's time to replace them. Keep your guitar in a dry place to avoid rusting the strings. With proper use and care, these strings will give you great sound for a long time.
