The EMAD2 bass batter, with a two - ply construction of 7mil and 10mil film, boosts your attack and low - end. Two interchangeable damping rings make it easy to adjust the head's sustain. The EMAD reso head features a single ply of 10mil film with an offset 4” microphone port and a foam damping ring around the port's edge for better overtone control. Using this EMAD2 Bass 2 - Pack System is a breeze. First, install the EMAD2 batter head on your bass drum. Make sure it's tightened evenly to get the best sound. Adjust the two interchangeable damping rings on the batter head to change the sustain according to your preference. Then, put on the EMAD reso head. The offset 4” microphone port is great for recording, just position your mic there. When it comes to maintenance, keep the heads clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them after each use. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the film. Also, be gentle when adjusting the damping rings to prevent any breakage.
