The Evans EMAD System Pack offers endless possibilities to fine - tune your drum tone. It comes with EMAD batter and reso heads, giving you full control over your bass drum's attack, focus, and sustain, so you can craft a truly unique sound. The EMAD clear bass batter, made of a single ply of 10mil film, lets you adjust sustain using two interchangeable damping rings. The EMAD reso head, also a single ply of 10mil film, has an offset 4' microphone port. There's a foam damping ring around the port's edge for better overtone control. Using the Evans EMAD System Pack is easy. First, install the EMAD clear bass batter on your bass drum. You can adjust the sustain by swapping the two interchangeable damping rings until you get the sound you like. Then, put on the EMAD reso head with the offset 4' microphone port. Make sure the foam damping ring around the port is in place for better tone. When using a microphone, place it through the port for optimal sound capture. For maintenance, keep your drum heads clean. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid exposing the heads to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the 10mil film. Also, handle the damping rings with care to prevent any tears or damage. With proper use and care, your EMAD System Pack will last a long time and keep delivering great sound.
