The EMAD2 System Pack offers endless possibilities to perfect your drum tone. The included EMAD2 batter and reso heads give you full control over your bass drum's attack, focus, and sustain, enabling you to customize your sound completely. The two - ply EMAD2 bass batter, with one 7mil film ply and one 10mil film ply, enhances your attack and low - end. Two interchangeable damping rings let you easily adjust the head's sustain. The EMAD reso head has a single 10mil film ply with an offset 4” microphone port and a foam damping ring around the port's edge for better overtone control. Both heads feature Level 360 technology. Using this Evans EMAD2 System Pack is easy. First, install the EMAD2 batter head on your bass drum. Make sure it's tightened evenly to get the best sound. The interchangeable damping rings can be used based on your preference for sustain. If you want more sustain, use the lighter ring; for less, choose the heavier one. When installing the EMAD reso head, line up the 4” microphone port where you need it for easy access. The foam damping ring around the port helps control overtones. As for maintenance, keep your drum heads clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them down after each use. Avoid exposing the heads to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can damage them. Also, don't hit the heads too hard with sharp objects as it may cause tears.
