Using this Fender Squier Affinity Series Precision Bass is easy. First, make sure your bass is properly tuned using the vintage - style tuning machines. When you play, you can adjust the volume of the neck and bridge pickups separately to get different tones. The master tone control can further shape the sound. For different playing styles, experiment with the combination of the two pickups. As for maintenance, keep your bass clean. After each use, wipe it down with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and dirt. Store it in a cool and dry place to prevent damage to the wood and electronics. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to sound dull or lose their tension. Also, occasionally check the truss rod adjustment to ensure the neck is in good shape.
