Using Your Fender Vintera II 60'S Precision Bass:
First, make sure your bass is in tune. You can use the vintage-style tuning machines to adjust the string tension. Plug in your bass to an amplifier and adjust the master volume and tone controls to get the sound you like. When playing, use your fingers or a pick on the strings. The 7.25' radius fingerboard with vintage-tall frets gives you plenty of room for big bends and vibrato.
Care and Maintenance:
Keep your bass clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the body, neck, and strings after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity as this can damage the wood and hardware. Check the tuning and intonation regularly. If the strings start to sound dull or lose their tone, it's time to replace them with new Fender® USA 7250M Nickel Plated Steel strings.
Transportation:
When transporting your bass, always use the included deluxe gig bag. This will protect it from scratches and bumps. Make sure the bass is securely placed in the bag and handle it with care.
