It allows you to select presets and effects right from the floor, hands - free. You can also access the chromatic tuner easily, with colored LEDs for clear visual feedback. The real highlight is that it unlocks the 60 - second looper functionality of the Mustang GT, with dedicated buttons for 'Record', 'Play', 'Overdub' and 'Stop'. Using the Fender Mustang GT MGT - 4 Footswitch is a breeze. First, connect the included removable 12’ cable with 1/4” plugs to your Mustang GT100 or GT40. Once connected, you can start using the four buttons on the footswitch. Press the buttons to select different presets and effects without having to touch your amp. To use the chromatic tuner, just press the relevant button and the colored LEDs will give you feedback. For the looper functionality, press the 'Record' button to start recording, 'Play' to play back, 'Overdub' to add more layers, and 'Stop' when you're done. When it comes to maintenance, keep it in a dry place and avoid dropping it. If it gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to clean it. And always disconnect the cable when not in use to keep it in good condition.
