Product Detail
The Electro - Harmonix Nano OVERLORD is a compact overdrive and distortion pedal. It's a nano - sized take on the Operation Overlord, offering the same amazing overdrive and distortion tones in mono for those who don't need stereo ins/outs. It's super flexible and works great with guitars, basses, or keyboards.
This pedal has two switchable modes: Normal and Boost. In Normal mode, it uses three amp - like JFET gain stages to give low to medium gain sounds. When you switch to Boost mode, it adds a pedal - type OD circuit in front of the JFET stages, really ramping up the overall distortion. It also features a Dry blend control, very useful for bass and keyboards as it helps keep your instrument's articulation, harmonic content, and bottom end. There's a 3 - position input level selector switch for different instruments and an active 3 - band EQ for excellent tone shaping.
It can create a wide range of sounds, from clean boosts to intensely saturated overdrive and thick distortion. It comes with a power adapter, making it easy to use right out of the box.
Using the Electro - Harmonix Nano OVERLORD is a breeze. First, connect your instrument (guitar, bass, or keyboard) to the pedal and then connect the pedal to an amplifier. Plug in the included power adapter to power the pedal. To select the sound you want, you can use the 3 - position input level switch to set the initial input gain level for your instrument. The active 3 - band EQ allows you to shape the tone to your liking. You can switch between Normal and Boost modes by using the mode switch. In Normal mode, you'll get low to medium gain sounds, while Boost mode adds more distortion.
For bass and keyboards, use the Dry blend control to keep the natural characteristics of your instrument. This way, you won't lose the articulation and bottom end.
When it comes to maintenance, keep the pedal in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you need to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth. Don't use any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the pedal.
