Using the Shure BETA57A is a breeze. For acoustic and electric instruments, simply place the microphone close to the sound source. For vocals, position it about 6 to 12 inches from the mouth. When recording drums, aim it at the drumhead. When using guitar amplifiers, place it in front of the speaker. Remember to keep the microphone away from extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
