The Mackie ProFX12v3+ is a 12-channel professional analog mixer and USB-C audio interface. It's ideal for studio-quality recordings and live streams. With award-winning Onyx preamps, channel EQ, and analog compression, it captures your performance perfectly. The upgraded GigFX+ effects enhance your sound, and you can edit and save presets quickly on the full-color display. Switch between three recording modes - Standard, Loopback, and Interface. Loopback mode lets you stream games or perform over backing tracks without feedback. You can also bring in podcast guests via Bluetooth on a dedicated channel. It features 7 Onyx mic pres with up to 60 dB gain and low noise, a high-resolution GigFX+ effects engine, and a 24-Bit / 192 kHz 2x4 USB-C audio interface. All channels have 3-band EQ, and channels 1 - 4 have one-knob compression. Hi-Z switches allow direct instrument connection. It comes with a 100 Hz low-cut filter and 48V phantom power on all mic channels, a stereo 1/8” input on channel 11/12, separate FX, monitor, and subgroup busses, and a headphone output with level and blend control. Waveform OEM recording software is included. It has a solid steel chassis and tough ABS side protection.
Using the Mackie ProFX12v3+ is easy. First, connect your audio sources like microphones, instruments, or external devices to the appropriate input channels. You can use the Hi - Z switches on channels for direct instrument connection. Adjust the gain on the Onyx mic pres to get the right level, aiming for up to 60 dB of gain while keeping noise low. Use the 3 - band EQ on each channel to fine - tune the sound. The one - knob compression on channels 1 - 4 can add smoothness to your audio. To enhance your sound, use the GigFX+ effects. You can edit and save presets on the full - color LCD display. For recording, choose from the three available modes - Standard, Loopback, or Interface. If you're streaming games or performing with backing tracks, use the loopback mode. When bringing in podcast guests, connect their phones via Bluetooth on the dedicated channel. For maintenance, keep the mixer in a dry and clean environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth regularly. If you need to clean the connectors, use a contact cleaner carefully. Be gentle when adjusting the knobs and faders to avoid damage. The mixer comes with Waveform OEM recording software, which you can install on your computer to start recording right away.
