Using the Acoustic Strap Secure M9 - SSMini is a breeze. First, take out the stock strap button from your guitar. Then, fit the A.S.S. into your guitar strap. You may find it a bit tight, so you can use a small tool to slightly enlarge the mounting hole in the strap. After that, just screw the A.S.S. onto the output jack of your guitar. As for maintenance, since it's made of stainless steel, it's quite durable. But try to keep it dry and clean. Avoid leaving it in a humid environment for a long time as it may cause some minor corrosion over time. When you're not using the guitar, you can leave the strap on the A.S.S., but if you want to remove it, do it gently to prevent any damage to the strap or the A.S.S.
