Using the Mackie CR5 - X monitors is super easy. First, use the included high - quality cables to connect your devices to the rear panel inputs. You can choose between balanced 1/4' TRS, 1/8” Stereo, or RCA based on your device. If you want to listen with headphones, just plug them into the front - facing headphone jack, and the speaker output will automatically turn off. You can control the volume easily with the front panel volume knob. When setting up, use the speaker placement switch to decide which side of your desk has the volume knob. For maintenance, keep the monitors in a dry and clean place. Wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or humidity.
