Scherl & Roth SR51 4/4 Size Galliard Violin Outfit with Case & Bow

This Scherl & Roth SR51 4/4 Galliard violin outfit comes with an oblong thermoplastic case and a carbon fiber bow. It features a hand - crafted solid spruce top, maple back and sides. The hand - inlaid purfling and hand - applied spirit varnish add a touch of elegance. Adjusted in our shop with Prelude strings, it has an ebony fingerboard and pegs. There's also a select French maple bridge and a composite tailpiece, along with SR14 amber rosin. PLU: SR51E4H

Using your Scherl & Roth SR51 violin is easy. First, take it out of the oblong thermoplastic case carefully. Make sure to rosinate the carbon fiber bow before playing to get a good sound. Hold the violin under your chin and use the pegs on the scroll to tune the strings. The Prelude strings give a great tone, but you may need to adjust them a bit for the best sound. When not in use, put the violin back in the case to protect it from dust and damage. Clean the body of the violin gently with a soft cloth after each use to keep the hand - applied spirit varnish looking good. Check the bridge regularly to ensure it's in the right position. Don't expose the violin to extreme temperatures or humidity as it can damage the wood. Also, keep the SR14 amber rosin away from heat to prevent it from melting.
