The Little Martin is our smallest guitar, but it packs a huge punch in terms of tone, quality, and versatility. The LXK2 model comes with a koa high - pressure laminate (HPL) back, sides, and top. It's perfect for traveling, student practice, or just playing at home or by the campfire. Specifications include a mortise/tenon neck joint, a modified 0 - 14 fret body size, a Hawaiian Koa HPL pattern textured finish on the top, a herringbone - style rosette in gold and black, and more. It features Richlite fingerboard and bridge, chrome tuning machines with small buttons, and comes with a padded gig bag. Electronics are not available as an option.
Using your Martin LXK2 Little Martin Acoustic Guitar is easy. First, tune it up using the chrome tuning machines with small buttons. You can use the recommended Martin SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Medium Gauge strings for the best sound. Whether you're at home, on a trip, or by a campfire, just strum away and enjoy the great tone. When not in use, keep it in the padded gig bag to protect it from scratches and dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the wood pattern HPL finish. Every once in a while, wipe the strings with a clean cloth to keep them in good condition. And if you need to change the strings, just follow the standard string - changing procedure for acoustic guitars.
