Using your EVH Wolfgang Special QM Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, tune it up. You can use the EVH - branded Gotoh® tuning machines for normal tuning, and the EVH D - Tuna® to quickly switch to drop - D tuning. When you start playing, the pickups will give you a great sound whether you're strumming chords or playing leads. Use the 3 - position toggle switch to choose between the bridge pickup, both pickups, or the neck pickup. The volume and tone knobs let you adjust the sound to your liking. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a case when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to prevent rust. If you need to adjust the truss rod, use the spoke wheel at the base of the neck, but do it carefully to avoid over - adjustment. Also, make sure to keep the guitar in a place with stable temperature and humidity to prevent warping of the neck or body.
