Product Detail
The new 3 - channel, 50 - watt Triple Crown™ 50 from MESA Engineering® is a rock powerhouse. Powered by EL34, it captures the spirit of rock and can inspire new music genres in a unique MESA® way. Born from the side of MESA that created the iconic Dual Rectifier®, this amp features bold new circuits. It offers a wide range of sounds, from bright, clean tones rarely heard in this amp type to a tight and aggressive rock crunch, and a high - gain channel that's rich in harmonics. The Triple Crown aims for the throne of high - gain rock! You have a choice of power tubes: EL34, 6L6, or 6V6. With the BIAS SWITCH, you can swap EL34s for 6L6s for a fatter sound, or use 6V6s for a warmer, vintage tone. The amp comes with a lush all - tube reverb that adds a beautiful 3 - D effect to the three channels. MIDI connectivity allows you to access amazing sounds and pro features. The CabClone™ D.I. is great for live or recording, and there are headphone outputs for private playing. It has a tight attack and strong mids, dressed in a traditional yet modern design. Using your Mesa Boogie Triple Crown TC - 50 is a breeze. First, plug it in and turn it on. You can choose different channels and modes to get the sound you want. For a clean sound, select the normal mode on Channel 1. If you're after a rock crunch, try Channel 2's modern crunch mode. And for high - gain tones, Channel 3 is your go - to. You can also use the BIAS SWITCH to change the power tubes and get different sounds. When using the reverb, adjust it according to your preference to add a nice 3 - D effect. The MIDI connectivity lets you connect to other devices and access more features. Just set the MIDI Channel using the mini Rotary Selector. The CabClone™ D.I. is useful for direct input to a console, so you don't need a mic. And if you want to play privately, use the headphone output. As for maintenance, keep the amp in a dry place and clean it regularly with a soft cloth. If you need to change the power tubes, make sure to do it carefully. Always follow the safety instructions and turn off the amp before making any changes.
