The Solo® Guitar Combo Amp offers a unique TransTube sound. Its preamp and power amp have exclusive designs. The preamp can adjust gain to provide any level of drive, from clear tones to thick, smooth sustain. The power amp responds like a tube output section, with natural compression that increases as the volume goes up. With TransTube technology, you get an amp with wide - ranging dynamics and a natural 'grit', just like a tube amp.
This 12 - watt (rms) amp features an 8' Blue Marvel speaker, TransTube tube emulation circuitry, clean and lead channels, a 3 - band passive EQ, a ¼' stereo CD Input / Direct Out jack, and a headphone jack. It has a low damping factor for a lively tube power amp sound. The unpacked weight is 12.00 lb (5.443 kg), and the packed weight is 14.00 lb (6.35 kg). Using this Peavey guitar amp is easy. First, plug it into a power source. You can connect your guitar to start playing. The clean and lead channels let you switch between different sounds. Use the 3 - band passive EQ to adjust the bass, mid, and treble to your liking. If you want to play along with a CD, connect it using the ¼' stereo CD Input. You can also use the headphone jack for private practice.
