The preamp can adjust gain to offer a wide range of tones, from crystal - clear to thick, smooth sustain. The power amp responds like a tube output section, with natural compression that gets stronger as the volume goes up. This amp has great dynamics and a natural 'grit,' just like a tube amp! It features a 4" heavy - duty speaker, TransTube® tube emulation circuitry, a Master Volume control, a Clean & Lead channel switch, a 2 - band passive EQ, and a headphone jack. Using your Peavey Audition TransTube Combo Guitar Amp is easy. First, connect your guitar to the input jack. You can switch between the clean and lead channels to get different sounds.
