Using this fretboard lemon oil is a breeze. First, make sure your fretboard is clean of any large debris. Then, apply a small amount of the lemon oil from the 4 oz. applicator top onto a clean cloth. Gently rub the oil onto the fretboard in circular motions. Let it sit for a few minutes so it can penetrate and clean. After that, use a dry cloth to wipe off any excess oil. Remember, this product is not for maple fretboards. To keep your fretboard in top condition, use this lemon oil regularly, about once every few months depending on how often you play your instrument. Store the oil in a cool, dry place to maintain its effectiveness.
