Product Detail

The Ovation Celebrity Elite Series CE44L-5 left-handed acoustic/electric guitar comes in a sleek black finish. It features a single-cutaway, mid-depth Lyrachord body with a solid spruce top and quarter-sawn scalloped 'X' bracing. Ideal for stage projection, its round-backed body, resonant spruce top, and unique soundholes deliver clarity, balance, and power. Multi-wood epaulets around the soundholes and black binding add to its aesthetics, while a rosewood bridge completes the body. The neck has a 10' radius, 20 fully accessible frets (23 for the high E string), and a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots. Chrome die-cast tuners secure the strings at the headstock. The built-in electronics include an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system with a three-band EQ, volume control, low battery indicator, and an onboard tuner, capturing Ovation's signature acoustic tone. It also has a 2-piece Nato Mahogany neck, a 25.25' scale, pearloid microdot inlays, a multi-soundhole design, and more. PLU: CE44L5.

Using your Ovation CE44L-5 guitar is easy. First, make sure the strings are properly tuned using the chrome die - cast tuners at the headstock. You can also use the onboard tuner for quick and accurate tuning. Plug in the guitar to an amplifier using the output from the built - in electronics. Adjust the volume control and three - band EQ on the OP - 4BT preamp system to get your desired sound. When not in use, keep the guitar in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the solid spruce top and the other wooden parts. Wipe the strings with a soft cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Check the battery regularly, especially if you rely on the low battery indicator. If you notice any issues with the frets or the electronics, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician for repair.
