Product Detail

The MS9212 is a professional-grade microphone stand. It comes with a 10-pound, 12' base that offers unbeatable stability, capable of supporting the heaviest microphones and longest boom arms. The oversized shafts have a 1-1/8' diameter for the lower shaft and 7/8' for the upper shaft. A reducer at the upper shaft's top makes it compatible with all standard 5/8'-27 threaded mic clips and boom arms. The heavy-duty mid-point clutch acts as a brake on the upper shaft, preventing it from crashing down during height adjustment. The upper shaft has an oversized knurled locking washer for precise mic positioning. The lower shaft connects to the base via a solid steel machined lug with M20 threading and a locking washer. This coarse threading allows for fast assembly, a secure connection, and longer thread wear. The sleek, embossed base with shock-absorbing rubber pads ensures superior stability. These high - end round base microphone stands are made of heavy - duty materials for long - lasting use. The 12' low - profile base provides stability with a small footprint. The oversized zinc die - cast clutch with a 3' grip adjusts the height from 36 - 65', and the entire upper shaft can slide into the lower shaft for easy storage and transport.

Using the MS9212 microphone stand is easy. First, assemble the stand by connecting the lower shaft to the base using the solid steel machined lug. The M20 threading makes it quick to put together. Once assembled, place the stand on a flat surface. The rubber pads on the base will absorb vibrations and protect the floor. Adjust the height of the stand using the oversized zinc die - cast clutch. You can set it anywhere between 36 and 65 inches. To position the microphone, use the knurled locking washer on the upper shaft to keep the mic clip in place. When it's time to store or transport the stand, slide the upper shaft into the lower shaft. As for maintenance, keep the stand clean. Wipe it down regularly to prevent dust and dirt build - up. Check the threading and the clutch periodically to ensure they're in good working condition. If you notice any issues, don't use the stand until it's fixed.
