Using this Fender pickguard is a breeze. First, make sure your Precision Bass is from the American, American Standard, American Vintage, Standard, or Deluxe series (it won't fit five - string models). Remove the old pickguard carefully. Then, align the new pickguard with the 13 mounting screw holes on your bass. Secure it tightly using the appropriate screws. When it comes to maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it clean.
