One of the great features of Fender® instruments is the ease of changing their appearance. A simple yet effective way is to swap out the pickguard. Fender offers a wide range of pickguards in various colors and materials, allowing you to customize your beloved Fender instrument. These 11-hole mount modern-style pickguards are shielded with a second screw near the middle pickup. Using this Fender pickguard is a breeze. First, remove the old pickguard from your instrument carefully. Make sure to keep track of all the screws. Then, place the new pickguard in position and align the holes. Screw it in tightly but don't over - tighten to avoid damaging the pickguard or the instrument. As for maintenance, keep it clean by using a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust and fingerprints. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the tortoise shell - like finish. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild instrument cleaner, but always test it on a small, hidden area first.
