Product Detail

The G9241 Alligator Biscuit Resonator Acoustic/Electric Guitar from Gretsch is a volume powerhouse! Whether you're playing chunky rhythms, finger - style, or using a bottleneck, this all - mahogany guitar with a roundneck projects rich, swampy tones that can fill any dance hall. Its secret lies in the all - new Gretsch Ampli - Sonic™ diaphragm, hand - spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99% pure aluminum. This diaphragm produces an amazing tone quality and volume. It's part of the Gretsch® Roots Collection. With a laminated mahogany body in a vintage semi - gloss finish, a mahogany neck in the same finish and a medium 'V' shape, it offers a great playing feel. It has a 25' (635 mm) scale length, a Padauk fingerboard with 20 frets, a bone string nut, and abalone dot position inlays. The guitar features a biscuit bridge with a hard maple body and an ebony/maple saddle, nickel - plated hardware, and Grover® Sta - Tite™ die - cast tuning machines. It comes with D'Addario® EJ16 Phosphor Bronze, light strings. Optional accessories include a gig bag and a hardshell case. Dimensions are 7.75x20.00x44.25 IN, and it weighs 9.95 LB. PLU: 2718015503.

Using your Gretsch G9241 Alligator Biscuit Resonator Guitar is a breeze. First, make sure your strings are properly tuned using the Grover® Sta - Tite™ die - cast tuning machines. You can play it acoustically or plug it into an amplifier for an electric sound. When playing, hold the guitar comfortably and use your fingers or a pick as you like. For different tones, try various playing techniques like chunk rhythm, finger - style, or bottleneck. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry place to avoid damage to the wood. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to keep them sounding good. You can also use a guitar polish on the body to maintain its vintage semi - gloss finish. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, consider using the optional gig bag or hardshell case to protect it. And always be gentle when handling the guitar to avoid any accidental bumps or scratches.
