Product Detail

The Audio-Technica ATW-901A/G System 9 VHF Wireless Unipak System is ideal for live sound reinforcement. It comes with a wireless VHF receiver, a bodypack transmitter, and an AT-GcW guitar/instrument input cable. The receiver uses two dipole antennas to boost the range. You can choose from four VHF transmission frequencies: 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, or 171.905 MHz. It has LED indicator lights for channel, RF, and AF peak. On the back, there's a volume control knob, a squelch control knob, balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4' audio outputs, and a power cord hook to prevent accidental power disconnection. The bodypack transmitter runs on two AA batteries and features variable microphone and instrument trim, channel selection DIP switches, a Power/Mute button, and a Unipak input connector. The squelch control on the receiver helps reduce radio interference and white noise. It operates in the VHF High Band with FM modulation, a maximum deviation of ±10 kHz, a dynamic range of 90 dB (A-weighted), and a frequency response of 80 to 13,000 Hz. It has an operating range of 200' (61.0 m) in an open environment without interference and works in a temperature range of 40 to 110° F (4 to 43° C), though battery performance may drop at very low temperatures.

Using this Audio - Technica wireless guitar system is easy. First, make sure the bodypack transmitter has two fresh AA batteries. Turn it on using the Power/Mute button. Use the channel selection DIP switches to choose one of the four available VHF frequencies: 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, or 171.905 MHz. Connect your guitar or instrument to the transmitter with the AT - GcW input cable. For the receiver, plug in the power cord securely using the power cord hook to avoid accidental disconnection. Connect the audio output to your amplifier or sound system using either the balanced XLR or unbalanced 1/4' output. Adjust the volume and squelch control knobs on the back of the receiver as needed. When it comes to the squelch control, set it so that it mutes the audio output when the radio signal from the microphone drops below a certain level, reducing interference. In terms of maintenance, keep the system clean and dry. If you're not using it for a long time, remove the batteries from the bodypack transmitter. Also, be aware that the operating temperature range is 40 to 110° F (4 to 43° C). Battery performance may be reduced at very low temperatures, so try to use it in a suitable environment.
