The Shure P9T-G7 is a half-rack UHF wireless transmitter designed for the PSM® 900 Wireless Personal Monitor System. It pairs with the P9R Bodypack receiver. This transmitter comes with cutting - edge features like CueMode (patent pending), Scan and Sync, and an RF mute switch for effortless setup and operation. It has balanced 1/4” and XLR connections, loop out, and headphone out. A rack - mounting kit, front or back mountable antennas, and a power supply are included. Remember to match frequency bands when buying separate wireless components. Key features are an RF Mute Switch to avoid RF interference during setup, quick and easy syncing with a P9R bodypack via an IR link, front panel audio input gain adjustment, a front or back mountable antenna design, compatibility with PA421A and PA821A antenna combiners, loop out connectors for multiple mix setups, switchable input levels, balanced connectors, a bit - mapped backlit LCD, rack - mounting hardware, a 1/8” headphone out for easy monitoring, and it operates in the G7 frequency band.
Using the Shure P9T - G7 wireless transmitter is a breeze. First, make sure to match the frequency bands of all your wireless components for proper system operation. Connect your audio sources to the balanced 1/4” or XLR connectors. You can use the loop out connectors for multiple mix setups and easy installation. The RF mute switch is handy during setup as it allows you to configure the system without causing RF interference. To sync with the P9R bodypack, use the Scan and Sync feature over the IR link. Adjust the audio input gain on the front panel and check the LED level meter with a clipping indicator. You can mount the antennas either on the front or back. For easy monitoring, use the 1/8” headphone out on the front panel. As for maintenance, keep the transmitter in a clean and dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
