The hard rock maple rim with a brass rod tone ring produces amazing sound. What's great is that the flangeless CC - 50RP can be easily transformed into an openback banjo for clawhammer or folk style playing; just remove the resonator and mounting brackets. It features a rosewood fretboard, a Terminator tailpiece, and a geared fifth - string tuning peg. Gold Tone's professional factory setup ensures great playability and sound from the get - go. It's also available in a left - handed model. Specifications: Neck is maple with a vintage brown satin finish. Fingerboard is blackwood. Bridge is maple with an ebony cap.
