Product Detail

The five-string banjo has made its mark across various music genres, and amplified or electric banjos are now more popular than ever. Our EBT/EBM models have been used by big - name artists like Mumford & Sons and Melissa Etheridge to enrich their sound. The EB - 5 is our new budget - friendly option. It has a simple yet eye - catching design and a strong stage presence. We've used a custom Remo eight - inch pre - tuned banjo head. No tensioning hardware is needed, which means better tuning stability. The contoured mahogany body is well - balanced, and it comes with our slim Canadian maple neck. A stacked humbucking pick - up gets rid of feedback issues, and the heavy - duty 'Terminator' tailpiece can handle both loop - end and ball - end strings. Specifications: Neck: Maple; Body: Mahogany; Fingerboard: Radiused Rosewood; Bridge: Ebony/Maple. Wood finish is mahogany, and the fingerboard has dot inlays. Nut is bone, tuners are planetary, tailpiece is straightline, strings are GDGBD - .010, .024w, .016, .013, .010, plating is chrome, and the head is a Remo Pre - Tuned Head B1104 - 8. You can choose an optional case, and a gig bag is included. The pickup is a humbucker at the neck position. PLU: EB5

Using your EB - 5 electric 5 - string banjo is easy. First, make sure the strings are properly tuned. You can use a tuner for accurate tuning. Plug in your banjo to an amplifier using a suitable cable to get that great amplified sound. When you're on stage or practicing, adjust the amplifier settings to your liking to get the best tone. As for maintenance, keep your banjo clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the body and strings after each use. This helps prevent dirt and sweat from building up. Avoid exposing the banjo to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the wood and affect the tuning. Check the strings regularly for wear and tear and replace them when they start to sound dull or break. If you're not using the banjo for a long time, store it in the included gig bag or an optional case to protect it from dust and bumps.
