Product Detail
The Epiphone B.B. King Lucille electric guitar pays homage to the blues legend. Inspired by Gibson ES™ models B.B. King played, this beauty has amazing features. Gold hardware, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and an ebony fretboard with pearloid block inlays make it stand out. There's also a brass truss rod cover engraved with B.B. King's name and a mother-of-pearl Lucille inlay on the headstock. Multi-ply binding on the body and headstock adds elegance. The semi-hollow body with a maple center block reduces feedback. Unlike most semi-hollowbody guitars, it has no f-holes, as B.B. King requested to cut down on feedback. The electronics are top-notch, with a six-position Varitone switch, Alnico Classic PRO™ humbucking pickups wired to CTS® potentiometers, and both stereo and mono output jacks for flexibility. It comes with an EpiLite™ case. Body: ES-335 shape, 5-ply layered maple, spruce bracing, maple centerblock, multi-ply binding on top, back, and headstock, single ply on neck, gloss finish. Neck: Maple, rounded C profile, 24.75' scale length, ebony fingerboard, 12' radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, Graph Tech nut, 1.69' width, pearloid block inlays, glued-in set neck, 60s Kalamazoo headstock with mother-of-pearl logo inlays. Using your Epiphone BB King Lucille guitar is a breeze. First, make sure it's tuned up using the Grover Rotomatic tuners. Plug it into your amp using either the mono or stereo output jack, depending on your setup. Adjust the volume and tone controls to get the sound you want. You can also play around with the six - position Varitone switch for different tonal variations. When you're done playing, always put it back in the EpiLite case to protect it from dust, scratches, and humidity. For maintenance, clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to keep them sounding good. Wipe down the body and neck to remove any fingerprints or dirt. Check the truss rod occasionally, but only adjust it if you notice the neck is warped; it's best to have a professional do this if you're not sure. Keep the guitar in a stable environment, away from extreme temperatures and humidity, as these can damage the wood and electronics. With proper care, your guitar will give you great sounds for years to come.
