Crafted with Gretsch's signature sound, style, and playability, these new models offer an authentic and electrifying experience. The G5655TG features a smaller body with a chambered spruce center block for dynamic resonance, high gain, and lightweight comfort. The 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and NeoClassic™ thumbnail inlays provides excellent playability. Dual Black Top Broad’Tron™ humbucking pickups deliver bold, dynamic, and articulate tones. It comes in five stunning finishes including Azure Metallic, and has gleaming gold pickguards and hardware like the Bigsby® B70 vibrato tailpiece. Using your Gretsch G5655TG guitar is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the die - cast tuning machines. You can select different pickup combinations with the 3 - position toggle switch to get various tones. For a louder sound from the bridge pickup, choose position 1. Combine both bridge and neck pickups in position 2 for a fuller tone, and use just the neck pickup in position 3. Adjust the volume and tone using the control knobs. When you're done playing, always keep your guitar in a case to protect it from dust, moisture, and scratches. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use to keep the finish looking great. Also, check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to sound dull or feel worn. Don't expose the guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity as it can damage the wood and electronics.
