With two - tone finishes featuring metallic tops, richly stained bodies and necks, gold hardware, and P - 90E pickups with cream inserts, these guitars are a show - stopper. The mahogany body with a spruce center block provides lightweight comfort, excellent feedback rejection, and an open, airy sound. The thin 'U' mahogany neck offers great playability, topped with a 12” radius laurel fingerboard. The P - 90E pickups deliver a wide, balanced tone from thick overdrive to clean sounds. Using your Gretsch Electromatic Pristine LTD Edition guitar is a breeze. First, make sure your guitar is in tune using the die - cast sealed tuning machines. You can switch between different pickup sounds using the 3 - position toggle switch. For a warmer tone, use the neck pickup, and for a brighter sound, choose the bridge pickup. When you want a combination of both, select the middle position. When playing, the Bigsby® B70 vibrato tailpiece allows you to add some cool vibrato effects. Just gently move it back and forth. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry place to prevent the wood from warping. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use to remove fingerprints and dirt. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to sound dull. Also, make sure the Graph Tech NuBone nut and the Adjusto - Matic™ bridge are in good condition.
